Council of Leaders of the Youth Union
Systematic work is being carried out in our country to educate the younger generation and create all the necessary conditions for their independent life.In recent years, to strengthen the legal framework of state youth policy, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Youth Policy" has been adopted.
A Presidential Decree was issued "On Measures for the Fundamental Reform of State Policy on Youth in the Republic of Uzbekistan and Its Advancement to a New Level." June 30 was declared "Youth Day" in Uzbekistan.
In accordance with this Decree, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan was abolished, and the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan was established in its place. The agency exercises state control over compliance with legislation in the field of youth policy.
Five important initiatives are being implemented, aimed at actively engaging young people in culture, arts, physical education, and sports, improving their literacy in information technology, promoting reading among the youth, and ensuring women's employment.
In accordance with the requirements of Presidential Resolution No. DP-4768 dated June 30, 2020, the Youth Leaders' Council was established within the structure of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Youth Leaders' Council is engaged in the consistent and effective implementation of state youth policy, comprehensive support for young people, studying their issues, protecting their rights and legal interests, promoting the proposals and opinions of young employees in the banking system, organizing their leisure activities, and actively involving them in sports.
